Optional Farm Experience: Fair Oaks Farms

Tuesday, July 28 | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Join us for an optional add-on farm learning lab opportunity before the official agenda kicks off. We will spend the day at Fair Oaks Farms, a local agritourism operation. Attendees will tour the Dairy Adventure, which includes a birthing barn and robotic milking, and the Pig Adventure, which includes the modern farming practices of a working pig farm. This activity will include instruction from Fair Oaks staff, along with loss control specific information provided by committee members. Registration for this activity includes transportation to and from Fair Oaks Farms, breakfast, and lunch.

Optional Workshop: MIP Endorsement Workshop

This workshop qualifies for those holding the Mutual Insurance Professional designation to earn the MIP-Loss Control certification endorsement, but it is open for all to attend.

This advanced workshop will be focused on the basics of exposure for each line of coverage: Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Unique Farm Exposures.
